First and foremost, I want to thank GOD for blessing me with a unique gift of love for the animals!
My name is Angie Kilgore.
I share my home with my amazing husband Josh, our many wonderful Boxer kids,
a chihuahua, named Kita,
an Amazon Parrot, named JoJo, a Bearded Dragon named Spike and a Norwegian Spotted Goose
name Giddy.

Josh and I recently married in June 2008!
This man has been the best husband ever,
and has been just wonderful with
ALL the many animals he married into!
Thank you Hubby for your love and support!!!
I think GOD knew I needed some guidance along the way,
and sent YOU here to ME.
Having no children of our own, other than our critters,
we have devoted our love and our life to each and every one here at Brookside!

My love for the boxer breed began back in 2002 when I saw one of the neighbor's walking their dog outside, and thought to myself,
what a GORGEOUS dog you have!
Those dark black eyes and beautiful expression captured my heart and from that moment on,
I pondered the idea of owning such a
magnificent breed for myself.
The very next year, to my surprise, my boyfriend at that time,
purchased a plain fawn female named
"Duchess"

She was my Christmas present and James, I will be eternally grateful to you for
giving me the best gift anyone ever could!
Duchess is the most gentle and loving pet an owner could ever wish for.
She is my protector, my companion, and my best friend! She has been with me through many adventures, the good, the bad, and the just plain awful, and without her I don't think I would have made it through them all!
Where she lacks in style and conformation, she shines within her heart and is truly a champion to me!
She is my inspiration for starting the road to
bettering the breed and my determination to produce
healthy boxers with correct type and temperament
set forth by the AKC standards.

In 2005, I sought after a boxer to take to the AKC show ring.
It was then I met Rhonda McNutt of
Country Time Boxers in Alabama.
http://countrytimeboxers.com
Rhonda and I talked in great detail my desire to show a boxer
and on March 13th, 2005,
that dream was starting to come true.
Rhonda had a litter off of Rummer Run's Tug of War "Tug" and High River's Chantilly Lace "Tilly".
that she invited me to come and see.
A few weeks later, I visited Rhonda and the puppies and a semi-plain little brindle girl picked me to take her home!

It was love at first sight,
Country Time's Cookies and Cream "Cookie"
was my very first show prospect female and was
co-owned with her breeder Rhonda McNutt of Country Time Boxers in AL.
As it turns out, Cookie has went back to live with her breeder
and recently finished her show career!
She is now carrying the name of CH Country Time's Cookies and Cream!

I could not be more proud of both Cookie and Rhonda
for the work put in to make her the next
Country Time Champion!
Many thanks also go to her handler, Rick Justice for making
that dream a reality!
I knew how hard it was going to be to have Cookie gone to shows all the time, so I purchased yet another puppy
from the litter to stay home with me,
a beautiful plain fawn girl,
Country Time's Scootin' Along named "Honey"

Honey is retired from breeding and now lives with
Tara and Brett Watt and their two children and two Boston Terrier's,
in Mount Juliet, TN!
Thanks to the Watt family for giving Honey a fabulous new home!
Honey whelped one gorgeous litter on July 17th, 2007
out of CH Marpal's PRO Dispatcher "Danny"
owned by Margaret and Jamie Hardy
in Hazel Green, AL.

Sadly, Honey developed Pyrometra shortly after that litter
and had to be spayed. She now enjoys life as a couch potato!

Not only am I fascinated with the North American Boxers,
I also have another love for the European Boxers.
In 2006, I met Renee Miller of Red Earth Boxers in OK
http://www.redearthkennels.com
I purchased a full German brindle Male I named,
Brookside's Chocolate Soldier "Hamlet"
Hamlet has one of the best temperments we have
ever seen on a boxer and has an outstanding headpiece most
likely derived from his CH grandsire "CH Excalibur OD Stribmaku".

After owning a full German male,
I found myself wanting to import,
and sought after some of the best European
breeders I could find.
I was introduced by a mutual friend to Alexander Balashov
of Aivengo Boxers in Moscow Russia and found a very special
flashy fawn girl!
http://www.aivengo.ru/emain.htm
Aviengo Enni

She is best known here in the states as "Layla"
and now resides in Missouri.

Along my journey of raising and breeding boxers, I have met
some amazing friends and breeders!
In 2007, I had the privilege of meeting
Jenny Bishop of Donje Boxers!
http://www.donjeboxer.com
She had a flashy brindle just for me!
Donje's Charmed One @ Brookside "Charm"

Charm is now 2 yrs old and has been bred to
CH Donje's Lucky Charm of BlueMoon!!!
PUPPIES ARE HERE!!!! ARRIVED MAY 21ST, 2009!!!

Some other great friends and mentors my husband and I
have been so honored to meet are
Jay and Linda Caughron of
Blue Moon Boxers in Republic, Missouri.
On January 5th, 2009 (my birthday!)
a wonderful surprise came to Brookside!
CH Donje's Lucky Charm of Blue Moon "Lucky"
owned, raised and shown by Jay and Linda
came here to reside with us for awhile
and sired a fantastic litter for us!

I was smitten by this gorgeous male the moment
I layed eyes on him and I am still today, with each
look, this handsome gentleman melts my heart more each day!
He is an absolute joy and we could not be more happy to have
him stay here with us!

We love you Lucky and we love you too Jay and Linda!

Many thanks go to Jay and Linda for entrusting us with their
gorgeous Champion Male
and for allowing us the amazing opportunity
to sire a litter here at Brookside!
What a fabulous birthday present that was!!!

Brookside welcomes a new addition,
Andrea!!!
She is my puppy back from
Aviengo Enni "Layla" and Int CH Aivengo Andreas "Andre".
She has multiple European Champions in her Russian Bloodline.
Her sire and dam come from the world famous Aivengo Kennel in Russia.
She is a beautiful, 100% European, dark brindle female,
every bit as gorgeous as her fabulous parents!

during their lifetime.
We update the web page often with pictures
of our puppies and their
new owners and ask that you do the same for us,
when purchasing one of our boxers!
We also enjoy learning more about Boxers,
breeding, training, showing or just "Boxer chit-chat"!
We enjoy meeting new people, talking about our
experiences and theirs, and sharing all our stories together.
We hope you will enjoy this site and feel free to
email us or call us anytime, with questions,
